The Dauntless Gambit is a sci-fi espionage action-drama written by Erik Flowers. It was getting good traction so Erik enlisted SSZ to visually bring the world to life.

The Kestrel & Claw cover features Samantha in mid-rage; dynamic, violent, explosive. The red scarf is a recurring motif that visually appears to act much like Dr. Strange’s cape with a mind of its own.

The Legacy & Lies cover features Decker and Eliza posing for a picture. Rather, Eliza is posing and dragging Decker along for the ride.

The Turnabout & Temerity cover features Julian and Qin each in emblematic poses of their characters. Julian is holding a pencil (which is important in the story) while running for his life. Qin is looking both brainwashed and ominous.

The Ascension & Ash cover features Samantha facing off against Renic in an epic showdown that needed to embody both their past as lovers and their present as sworn enemies.
